I had the amazing opportunity to DJ at the first Miami University Global Initiatives Global Dance Party. The event was the kick-off for their International Education Week. There was a great turnout of Miami students from around the world and included a fun dance routine by the Hillel student organization.
To prepare for the event students submitted songs that represented their countries and I also tried to take as many requests as possible during the event. I really loved getting to see international students share music from back home with their new friends here in the USA.
